The Kitsap County Reading Trail is a community-centered summer reading adventure created for families across Kitsap County. From July 11 – August 31 2026, families are invited to explore local businesses while discovering thoughtfully selected children’s books placed at each Trail Stop along the way.
At every stop, kids can mark their Reading Trail Map with a stamp or sticker as they go. As they visit more locations and enjoy more stories, their map begins to fill with little moments from around the county.
Families who complete their Trail Map can submit it for fun prizes and a final giveaway, celebrating the adventure they’ve taken together.
The Reading Trail is completely free to participate in and designed to bring together stories, local businesses, and meaningful family time during the summer season.
